How do you know if your home is affected?

  • You will see live evidence of insects like moths flying around or very small beetles crawling in and around natural fabrics.

  • When using or moving natural fibre clothes, you may notice damage to the item. This can be small holes or bits of fabric frayed at the ends.

  • Fabric pests love old expensive oriental rugs and carpets and these can easily be damaged, especially if they are hung on walls for decoration as they are undisturbed.

  • You may get chunks of carpet coming up as you are vacuuming, usually at the edges of door frames and skirting boards.
